Tucker Carlson: You want Hillary Clinton news, you know where to go
Tucker Carlson joked Thursday about his own network by saying, “if you want Clinton news, you know where to go.”
The “Tucker Carlson Tonight” host and his network, Fox News, have faced criticism for focusing on stories about Hillary Clinton despite the fact that she is not holding a political office.

Speaking at Business Insider’s Ignition conference, Carlson defended his show for covering stories that he says are not getting enough attention from other outlets.
“I think there ought to be a role for someone who is looking at stories that aren’t covered by everybody else, and who is looking at things a little bit differently,” Carlson said. “I kind of believe in diversity that way.”
He said that being called out by Twitter users for covering those stories is a “badge of honor,” and said that he thinks it is a mistake for journalists to frame their reporting based solely on what other networks are covering.
“I do think that there is a kind of childish groupthink in media a lot, where people are checking other outlets to ratify their own decisions,” he said.
“I think we pay way too much attention to [President] Trump,” Carlson continued. “Trump is moderately interesting … but if you’re programming your entire schedule around one guy and his tweets, it’s possible you may be missing other stories.”
