Fox News re-ups former DNC chair candidate Jehmu Greene

Former Democratic National Committee chairwoman candidate Jehmu Greene has re-signed her contract with Fox News, according to a network announcement.

Greene will continue to offer her political analysis and weigh in on social justice issues on Fox News and Fox Business.

“Since joining Fox News nearly eight years ago, Jehmu has built a strong relationship with our viewers, and we value her insight across all of our programming,” President of Programming Suzanne Scott said in the Monday announcement.

Prior to joining Fox in 2010, Greene was tapped by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to serve on the National Commission for United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The 46-year-old was also the first African-American president of MTV’s Rock the Vote campaign from 2000-2005.

Most recently, Greene ran for chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee in 2017, but struggled to gain traction and withdrew after the first round of balloting.

“I’m looking forward to providing my signature, unapologetically progressive, commentary to the Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network audience,” Greene said in a statement.
