Tapper: Trump tweet about ‘fighting back’ doesn’t help his obstruction case
CNN’s Jake Tapper on Monday said President Trump’s early morning tweet about “fighting back” against the Russia investigation does not help him demonstrate he was acting in the best interest of the nation.

“I’m no attorney but I’m not sure the president describing his actions (the ones being looked at as possible obstruction of justice) as ‘fighting back’ helps his case that he was merely doing what was best for the country,” Tapper wrote on Twitter.

The CNN “State of the Union” host was referring to Trump’s Monday tweets, in which he again called the investigation into Russia’s election interference a “witch hunt” and said he is “fighting back,” not obstructing justice.
“The Russia Witch Hunt is rapidly losing credibility. House Intelligence Committee found No Collusion, Coordination or anything else with Russia,” the president wrote on Twitter.
“So now the Probe says OK, what else is there? How about Obstruction for a made up, phony crime. There is no O, it’s called Fighting Back”

The 13 Angry Democrats in charge of the Russian Witch Hunt are starting to find out that there is a Court System in place that actually protects people from injustice…and just wait ‘till the Courts get to see your unrevealed Conflicts of Interest!

Tapper on his Sunday show told counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway that he’d like Trump to “stop lying.”
“Do you think his job includes lying to the American people? Because he continually does so and he undermines his own administration when he does so,” Tapper asked Conway during his Sunday morning show.
Conway pushed back, telling Tapper he hoped to “go viral” by saying the president’s name and the word “lie” in a sentence.
