Dershowitz claims woman said he should be ‘stabbed through the heart’ for defending Trump
Alan Dershowitz said Thursday night that a woman said he should be “stabbed through the heart” for speaking out against special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.
“At a party this week on Martha’s Vineyard, a woman said, ‘If Dershowitz were here tonight, I’d stab him through the heart,” Dershowitz claimed on Fox News’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Thursday.
Dershowitz said in a recent opinion piece for The Hill that liberals on the elite island off the coast of Massachusetts have ostracized him.

The retired Harvard law professor and attorney wrote that while he is not a supporter of President Trump, he believes Mueller’s probe into potential collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia should end.
Dershowitz’s defense of Trump’s civil liberties, he wrote, has caused some his old friends to “shun” him and ban him from social life.
“I don’t care about parties, I’m invited to too many,” Dershowitz said Thursday night.
The hosts of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” had a laugh on Thursday when discussing Dershowitz’s recent plight.
Co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski joined BBC World News America reporter Katty Kay to mock Dershowitz for what they characterized as complaints about receiving the cold shoulder.
“And now he’s not being invited — poor thing — to Martha’s Vineyard cocktail parties,” Kay said sarcastically.
Scarborough tore into Dershowitz for being Trump’s “mouthpiece” and “bullhorn” in an attempt to undermine Mueller’s investigation.
Dershowitz told Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Thursday that he wonders if Scarborough “has the guts” to invite him on “Morning Joe.”
“Let’s see if he has the guts to put me on his show so I can tell his viewers the truth,” the lawyer said.
