Ben Shapiro: I thought Kavanaugh was done, ‘now he’s very much alive’
Ben Shapiro said Supreme Court nominee Ben Kavanaugh’s confirmation is “very much alive” because of his forceful testimony, a turnabout that surprised the conservative commentator, who said he earlier had thought that Kavanaugh “was done” following emotional testimony by his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford.

In another tweet, Shapiro praised Kavanaugh for angrily defending himself, arguing that if he’s innocent, such anger is warranted.
Kavanaugh is angry. He should be if he’s innocent. And anyone who says he shouldn’t is a ridiculous, pathetic liar,” he wrote to his 1.58 million followers.

Kavanaugh said following Ford’s testimony earlier today that would not withdraw from the nomination, adding at a raised volume that a coordinated effort was in motion to destroy his family and good name.
“I will not be intimidated into withdrawing from this process,” he said.
