NewsNation signs Ross Coulthart as special correspondent

NewsNation has signed Ross Coulthart as a special correspondent, the network announced on Tuesday.

In his new role, the network said Coulthart will produce special projects and short- and long-form documentary-style pieces on a wide range of topics, including national defense and military operations.

Coulthart’s first project for the network, a special entitled, “Unsolved: The JFK Assassination,” will be timed to the 60-year anniversary of the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy. It will debut on Sunday.

“Ross is a renowned journalist with decades of news reporting experience, and we are thrilled to bring him on board,” said Michael Corn, president of news at NewsNation, said in a statement announcing Coulthart’s hire. “We look forward to offering our viewers more of Ross’ outstanding journalism.”

Coulthart lives in Australia and has worked for a number of leading media organizations serving the country, including The Sydney Morning Herald and the popular news program, Sunday Night.

NewsNation is owned by Nexstar Media Group, which also owns The Hill.
