CNN’s Acosta fires back at Laura Ingraham over Trump comments
CNN’s Jim Acosta fired back at Laura Ingraham on Thursday after the Fox News host mocked his complaints about President Trump’s treatment of reporters at the North Korea summit.
“Of course Laura Ingraham sides with the folks at Russian and Chinese State media,” Acosta tweeted. “Those are her kind of people. #PropagandistsUnited”

Earlier Thursday Ingraham called out Acosta during her speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference.
{mosads}“Jim Acosta of CNN. He’s a nice person. He was complaining this morning on television — I know that’s not news — he was complaining that President Trump didn’t call on U.S. media at the summit presser and that he only called on the Russian and the Chinese journalists,” she said. “Kind of interesting and kind of sad because he’d probably get a better shake from the Chinese and Russian journalists.”
Ingraham later on Thursday fired back at Acosta in a tweet of her own, saying “Of course Jim Acosta, who mischaracterized the Trump Hanoi presser, can’t take a joke and reacts with invective.”
Of course Jim @Acosta, who mischaracterized the Trump #Hanoi presser, can’t take a joke and reacts with invective. “[My] kind of people” includes reporters who stick to the facts and don’t need to make themselves the center of every story. Try it sometime. #AmericaUnited https://t.co/6WuKL4J6i8

Acosta criticized Trump on Wednesday for not answering his questions during a joint press conference with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Vietnam.
The CNN reporter said the president opted instead to call on foreign journalists and Fox News host Sean Hannity. Trump also called on several other reporters representing U.S. media, including ABC and CBS.
Acosta has frequently criticized Trump’s treatment of reporters, and is set to write a book on the issue.
