Trump rips CNN upon arrival in London: ‘Why doesn’t owner @ATT do something?

President Trump ripped CNN, a frequent target of his, early Monday as he arrived to London for his first state visit to the United Kingdom.

Trump tweeted that his “only problem” during the trip was that the primary source of U.S. news in the U.K. was CNN — a network whose coverage he described as “negative” and “so much Fake News.”

“Very bad for U.S. Big ratings drop. Why doesn’t owner @ATT do something?” Trump asked.

Trump suggested in a follow-up tweet that if consumers stopped using or subscribing to CNN’s parent company, AT&T, it “would be forced to make big changes at CNN.”

“It is so unfair with such bad, Fake News!” Trump tweeted.

Trump also push backed on CNN on Sunday after reports that he called Meghan Markle, the duchess of Sussex, “nasty.”

The president said he never called Markle “nasty” and claimed the story was made up by the “Fake News Media,” specifically calling out CNN and The New York Times. {mosads}

Trump’s initial comments were first reported by The Sun. Trump reportedly told the British tabloid he didn’t know Markle was “nasty” when asked what he thought about her comments that he was “divisive” and “misogynistic” during his 2016 presidential campaign.

Markle’s husband, Prince Harry, is reportedly set to join Trump for a private lunch during the president’s visit.
