Neil deGrasse Tyson will keep his job as director of New York’s Hayden Planetarium after the museum concluded its investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against the astrophysicist.
“Based on the results of the investigation, Dr. Tyson remains an employee and director of the Hayden Planetarium. Because this is a confidential personnel matter, there will be no further statements by the Museum,” the American Museum of Natural History said in an emailed statement Monday.

In a story published in November, Bucknell University professor Katelyn Allers alleged Tyson groped her at an astronomy meeting in 2009.
Another woman, Ashley Watson, claimed Tyson made unwanted sexual advanced toward her after he promoted her to be his assistant.
Tyson has denied the allegations.
National Geographic announced in March it would move forward with two shows hosted by Tyson after it completed its investigation of the allegations.
National Geographic said “StarTalk” and “Cosmos” would return, but the company made no further comment regarding the investigation.
Deadline first reported the American Museum of Natural History’s decision on Sunday.
