Trump praises Baier for ‘tough but very fair’ interview with ‘Lyin’ Kamala Harris’
Former President Trump applauded Fox News anchor Bret Baier for what he called a “tough but fair” interview of Vice President Harris that aired on the network Wednesday night.
“Great job by Bret Baier in his Interview with Lyin’ Kamala Harris,” Trump wrote on social media late Wednesday. “She has a massive and irredeemable case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME – So bad, in fact, that she is barely able to talk about any subject other than … ME.”
Trump called Harris “the worst Vice President in history,” and sent “congratulations to Bret Baier on a tough but very fair interview, one that clearly showed how totally incompetent Kamala is.”
Trump has relentlessly attacked Fox, the top-watched cable news channel, over its coverage of him for months.
The former president has ridiculed Baier specifically in recent weeks, saying he would not participate in a debate on Fox moderated by the network’s chief political anchor.
Trump this week called it “wise” of Harris to agree to sit for an interview with Baier, who he noted in another social media post is “considered to be ‘Fair & Balanced,’ though often very soft to those on the ‘cocktail circuit’ Left.”
Trump last sat for an interview with Baier last summer, a conversation during which the anchor pressed the former president over his false claims of an unfair election in 2020, handling of classified documents after leaving the White House and other issues.
