My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell to appear on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’
My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell will appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” next week, the late-night host announced on the show Wednesday.
“Hey Siri, set a reminder,” Kimmel quipped. “Next Wednesday night, we will be visited in studio by the My Pillow man himself, Mike Lindell.”
After announcing the interview, Kimmel played a clip of Lindell talking about the upcoming appearance on “Frank,” the entrepreneur’s recently created social media channel.
“Oh, this is breaking news here on Frank,” Lindell said on the clip. “I’m, wow. I’m open to it and I did promise them all, they’re going to get My Pillows in the audience.”
The clearly excited Lindell also promised to answer any hard questions from Kimmel and said he saw the chance to apparel on the late-night show as “a blessing.”
“Mike, we are Bed Bath and Beyond excited to have you,” Kimmel said, responding to the clip. “I will say this, for a guy who’s convinced that this town is filled with celebrity baby cannibals, he seems to have no reservations about coming out whatsoever.”
“He’s already on the road. He’s driving from Minnesota with a California King mattress strapped to the roof of his Buick and a trunk full of pillows for us,” Kimmel added.
Lindell was a strong supporter of former President Trump and also of the conspiracy theories that widespread fraud cost Trump the 2020 election. In January, Twitter banned Lindell’s account because of his support for those theories.
In February, Dominion Voting Systems filed a $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit against Lindell because he claimed Dominion helped engineer that fraud.
Lindell has countersued Dominion in response.
In addition to courting controversy, Lindell has been praised for having his company manufacture 50,000 masks for health care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
