Fox’s Gutfeld mocks late night hosts for planned ‘climate night’
Fox News’s Greg Gutfeld poked fun at hosts of late night shows on network and cable television who plan to participate Wednesday in a joint effort they’re calling “Climate Night.”
“Hey all, its Climate Night! When comedy is trumped by virtue signaling! And therefore: no longer comedy! its just the elite parroting assumptions that keep them elite,” Gutfeld said in a tweet Tuesday night. “These aren’t comics; they’re teachers pets. at least put up a fight, guys. stop it. it’s sad to watch.”

CNN reported last week that TBS’s “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee,” ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah,” CBS’s “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” CBS’s “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” would participate in the event, slated for Wednesday.
During the one-night event, the shows said they would focus on climate change and issues of environmental sustainability.
