Joy Behar suffers fall during View opening
Joy Behar, a co-host of ABC’s “The View,” took a tumble as the show opened on Thursday morning.
As the women began to file into the studio with theme music playing and audience members clapping, cameras caught Behar falling after apparently trying to sit in her chair behind the desk and landing on the ground.
The show’s three other co-hosts, Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines and Sony Hostin, all leapt out of their chairs and ran to Behar, who immediately began laughing.
“Come on just stop, just stand,” Goldberg said as the three women helped Behar up. As soon as Behar was upright, the crowd roared in approval
“Let me tell you these chair are dangerous,” Hostin exclaimed as Behar continued to chuckle.
“These chairs move,” Goldberg said, still standing and spinning hers around as she spoke to Behar.
“25 years, that has never happened,” Behar said. “Who do I sue?” she joked.
