Man threatens Capitol Police
The U.S. Capitol Police yesterday put a bulletin out for a man who threatened to harm police officers in order to make the news.
An informant told The Hill that Michael Terry Smith had threatened to “take out some cops at a barricade and make national news.”
An alert was played on all police radios every 15 minutes, the informant said.
The U.S. Capitol Police confirmed the incident, but did not return calls for more information on the threat.
