Coburn undergoes surgery
Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) had surgery Wednesday morning to remove a benign tumor.
{mosads}The procedure involved no complications and the Republican senator is “expected to make a full and speedy recovery,” according to a statement released to the press by John Hart, Coburn’s spokesman.
No return date has been established as of yet but Coburn is expected to resume duties in the Senate full-time by the end of this month, according to his office.
