Clinton to make first ‘O’Reilly Factor’ appearance
Fox News confirmed that Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) will make her first-ever appearance on "The O'Reilly Factor." The interview will air in two parts over Wednesday's and Thursday's programs.
It will be conducted in South Bend, Ind., by host Bill O'Reilly. The Drudge Report had a banner headline proclaiming the news.
{mosads}The two Democratic candidates have shied away from appearances on Fox News Channel and refused to have a debate on the network. But Clinton has appeared on Fox News's morning program, on "On the Record" and on "Fox News Sunday."
Her competition for the Democratic nomination, Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.), made his first appearance on "Fox News Sunday" this past weekend, after host Chris Wallace started an "Obama Watch" in an effort to book the Illinois senator.
"The O'Reilly Factor" is consistently one of the highest-rated cable news programs.
