Bush to attend Snow’s funeral on Thursday
Former White House press secretary and conservative commentator Tony Snow’s funeral is set for Thursday and President Bush will attend, Snow’s successor Dana Perino said Monday.
{mosads}Snow lost his battle with colon cancer Saturday at the age of 53.
The funeral service will be held at the Basilica at Catholic University in Washington.
Perino told reporters Monday morning that it had been a “very sad weekend.” Bush had earlier addressed the loss of a “good friend.”
“Tony, you know, worked with us and made a lot of friends here in the White House, and Laura and I are – we’re really saddened by his death,” Bush said.
