Richardson: Bill Clinton ‘still ticked off at me’

New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson (D) said Tuesday that he has made up with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) after endorsing her rival but that he has not even spoken to Bill Clinton since then.

{mosads}The former president is “probably still ticked off at me,” said Richardson, who dropped out of the Democratic presidential race early on and then backed Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.). The governor served in Bill Clinton’s cabinet and the former president had made a strong effort to get him to back his wife – even spending Super Bowl Sunday at Richardson’s house.

Several Clinton supporters blasted Richardson for his move, with James Carville comparing him to Judas at the time.

Richardson, in an interview with Fox News, noted that he had not spoken with the former president.

“I like the Clintons,” he added. “I just felt Obama was something special and would be better for the country.”
