Obama offers ‘deep condolences’ to Nepalese leader

President Obama spoke with Nepalese Prime Minister Sushil Koirala on Wednesday about his country’s devastating earthquake. 
 
Obama offered his “deep condolences” for the loss of life and pledged the U.S. would do all that it could to help, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said. 
 
{mosads}More than 5,200 people were killed in the earthquake and more than 10,300 were injured, according to reports. Hundreds of thousands of homes were damaged. 
 
The U.S. has committed $10 million in aid to assist the recovery.
