Report: Trump considering two health CEOs to lead VA

President-elect Donald Trump is considering two health CEOs to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Bloomberg reports

Cleveland Clinic Chief Executive Officer Delos “Toby” Cosgrove and Luis Quinonez, CEO of IQ Management Services, are reportedly both under consideration to head the department.

Cosgrove and Quinonez both met with Trump on Tuesday at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

{mosads}According to Bloomberg, President Obama considered Cosgrove for the job in 2014 following the firing of Eric Shinseki, but he withdrew his name from consideration, citing his work commitments.

Quinonez, who is a Vietnam veteran, leads IQ Management Services, which provides healthcare services to the military.

Bloomberg reported that Trump is also considering U.S. Navy Adm. Michelle Howard and Fox News contributor Pete Hegseth.

Reforming the VA was one of Trump’s primary campaign promises.
