The lobby of Trump Tower was briefly evacuated on Tuesday afternoon after reports of a suspicious package being discovered.
New York Police Department spokesman J. Peter Donald tweeted that the department’s bomb squad was responding to the report “out of an abundance of caution.” The spokesman soon tweeted an “all clear.”
President-elect Donald Trump is spending the holidays at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Fla.

Law enforcement later said that the suspicious package was a bag of children’s toys, according to multiple reports.
