British politician Nigel Farage on Thursday ripped Hillary Clinton’s reaction to last year’s presidential election, calling her a “bad loser” who blames others for her loss.
“I don’t think it’s worth getting angry about Hillary. I just think she looks sad and pathetic,” Farage, an ally of President Trump and the former U.K. Independence Party leader who campaigned heavily for Brexit, said during an interview on “Fox & Friends.”
“There is nothing worse in life than a bad loser. Nothing worse than somebody who blames absolutely everybody else for their own failings.”
{mosads}Farage said Clinton’s loss in the election was mostly the result of her being a bad candidate.
“Let’s face it. She represented an out-of-touch, out-of-date establishment,” he said. “She almost appeared as if it was her right to become the president, and I’m very pleased she didn’t.”
He added: “I’ll tell you what, from now on, let’s just ignore her.”
Clinton during an appearance at Recode’s Code Conference on Wednesday blamed her election loss on a variety of sources, including Russian hackers, the Democratic Party, former FBI Director James Comey, the media and misogyny.
“I was the victim of a very broad assumption I was going to win,” Clinton said.
“I think a lot of people said, ‘We’ll get to this after the election, we aren’t going to worry about it right now,’ but that turned out to be a terrible mistake.”
Trump on Wednesday went after Clinton, saying the former Democratic presidential nominee “blames everybody but herself, refuses to say she was a terrible candidate.”
