North Korea: Trump’s ‘America First’ policy is like Nazism
North Korea’s state media on Tuesday compared President Trump to Adolf Hitler, saying Trump’s policy of “America first” is a modern-day Nazism, The Wall Street Journal reported.
In a report published Tuesday, Korean Central News Agency said that Trump’s “America first” policy is “the American version of Nazism far surpassing the fascism in the last century in its ferocious, brutal and chauvinistic nature.”
The report continued, calling it “Nazism in the 21st century” and comparing Trump to Hitler.
The remarks from North Korea’s state-run media come after the Trump administration condemned the country for the death earlier this month of American student Otto Warmbier, who after 17 months was released from North Korean custody in a coma after being arrested for allegedly stealing a propaganda poster.

“It’s a disgrace what happened to Otto,” Trump said at the White House last week. “It should never, ever be allowed to happen. And frankly, if he were brought home sooner, I think the results would have been a lot different.”
North Korea’s state-run newspaper responded last week, calling Trump a “psychopath” in a warning to South Korea.
