Harvey rescues top 13K
More than 13,000 people have been rescued in Houston and other areas in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Harvey.
Federal and local agencies reported the numbers amid ongoing recovery efforts in Texas, according to The Associated Press.
Harvey, which made landfall Friday in Texas as a category 4 hurricane, continues to bring rain and flooding to the region.

Harvey, which is now a tropical storm, made landfall again on Wednesday in western Louisiana.
Local officials have reported at least 30 confirmed or suspected deaths as a result of the storm, according to The New York Times.
Thousands of people have been displaced as water levels continue to rise in Harvey’s wake.
President Trump visited Texas on Tuesday.
He is expected to return to the state on Saturday to visit other areas still reeling from Harvey.
