Conservative commentator Ann Coulter said it has been “a lot of fun” to see people like Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein face sexual misconduct allegations in recent weeks.
During an interview on “Good Morning Britain,” Coulter was asked about reports that Spacey made a pass at a 14-year-old boy in the 1980s.
“I hope it’s not true. I like him as an actor. On the other hand, I love all of the allegations coming out against all of these big Hollywood types like Harvey Weinstein,” she said.
{mosads}”That’s been a lot of fun.”
Her comments come after actor Anthony Rapp told BuzzFeed that Spacey climbed on top of him at a party in 1986. Spacey would have been 26 years old at the time, and Rapp 14.
Following the allegations, Spacey on Monday publicly disclosed his sexual orientation for the first time.
He said in a statement on Twitter he is living his life “as a gay man.”
He said he doesn’t remember the incident with Rapp, but he owes him an apology for the “deeply inappropriate drunken behavior.”
Weinstein is facing allegations of sexual assault and harassment from multiple women.
The New York attorney general said earlier this month he will investigate The Weinstein Company over the allegations.
