Patient’s threats spark evacuation at DC hospital: report
MedStar Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., was partially evacuated on Thursday after an irate patient made threats toward a doctor, a local TV station reported.
Fox 5 DC reported that witnesses saw people evacuating the hospital, and police sources initially told the TV station that an active shooter had been reported.
Sources later confirmed to Fox 5 DC that no shooting had occurred on the premises.

{mosads}Initially, police sources said the call referred to an “active” shooter at the hospital.
Children’s National Medical Center, located nearby, also ordered staff and patients to shelter in place as a precaution, according to Fox 5 DC.
