Car bomb in Syria kills 13
A car bomb in a Syrian town held by Turkey-backed fighters Sunday has killed at least 13 and injured more, according to the Associated Press.
Syrian opposition activists are reporting the bomb in the northern town Azaz killed at least 12, while the U.K.-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said at least 14 people were killed and dozens more wounded, according to the AP.
It is not the first attack in Azaz, which was once controlled by rival Kurdish fighters, according to the AP.
The blast happened after the “iftar,” the meal that breaks the daylong fast during Ramandan, according to the AP.
