Trump targets Biden on Roe v. Wade comments
President Trump on Tuesday lashed out at Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden after the former vice president pledged to enact legislation making Roe v. Wade “the law of the land” if it were overturned by the Supreme Court.
The president tweeted that Biden would attempt to pack the Supreme Court to protect Roe v. Wade if he wins the election and falsely accused the former vice president of being “in favor” of late term abortions “right up until the time of birth, and beyond.”
Wow. Joe Biden just took a more Liberal position on Roe v. Wade than Elizabeth Warren at her highest. He also wants to PACK our great United States Supreme Court. This is what the Dems will do. Remember as they try changing positions before elections end. GET OUT AND VOTE!

Biden and Democrats just clarified the fact that they are fully in favor of (very) LATE TERM ABORTION, right up until the time of birth, and beyond – which would be execution. Biden even endorsed the Governor of Virginia, who stated this clearly for all to hear. GET OUT & VOTE!!!

Biden during last week’s presidential debate refused to answer a question on if as president he would support a proposal that would expand the number of seats on the Supreme Court and allow Democrats to confirm liberal justices in order to protect rulings like Roe v. Wade.
At a town hall event in Miami on Monday, Biden was asked how he planned to protect reproductive rights if Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett is confirmed, giving the high court a solid conservative majority.
Biden told NBC’s Lester Hold that “Number one, we don’t know exactly what she will do, although expectation is that she may very well move to … overrule Roe.”
“And the only thing, the only responsible response to that would be to pass legislation making Roe the law of the land. That’s what I would do,” he continued.
Biden has repeatedly stated that if the Supreme Court ruled that abortion was unconstitutional, he would pass legislation making the landmark Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion in the U.S., law.
Trump has regularly targeted Democrats over their stances on abortion, including a number of exaggerated attacks on Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D), who Trump said last month “is in favor of executing babies after birth.”
Northam faced criticism from anti-abortion groups last year after he supported legislation that would have loosened some abortion restrictions in the third trimester if the pregnancy would have serious consequences for the person giving birth’s mental or physical health.
The Hill has reached out to the Biden campaign for comment.
