ROMERO DECRIES ‘CUT AND RUN’ STRATEGY
Most politicians shied away from partisanship on the fifth anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attack, but Republican House candidate Craig Romero aimed for the Democrats’ jugular.
“As we remember the tragic events that took place on September 11th, we need to be mindful of the service and sacrifice of our troops oversees [sic] and those that support them,” he said yesterday in a press release.
“Now is not the time to cut and run from the fight against terrorism as liberal Democrat leaders have suggested,” he added. Brent Littlefield, Romero’s spokesman, said, “It’s not a partisan attack. It’s a policy disagreement.”
