Rep. Northup’s son dies
Joshua Northup, 30-year-old son of Rep. Anne Northup (R-Ky.), was found dead in his apartment yesterday.
Joshua, one of Rep. Northup’s six children, lived in Louisville and worked at Humana, a health-benefits company.
The Jefferson County coroner’s office said the death appeared to be of natural causes but was awaiting toxicology results to make an official ruling.
The Courier-Journal newspaper reported that, as of yesterday afternoon, Rep. Northup was in transit back to Kentucky and has suspended all campaign activity.
