The Hill earns GLAAD Media Award Nomination for Outstanding Online Journalism

The Hill’s Brooke Migdon was nominated by LGBTQ media watchdog GLAAD for outstanding online journalism article, with her deep dive into threats surrounding the LGBTQ community: “Pride Month feels different as threats, fear of violence grows.”

The GLAAD Media Awards honor outlets for fair, accurate and inclusive representations of LGBTQ people and issues.

Migdon was named alongside journalists from The Associated Press, NBC News, Huff Post, Yahoo News, Teen Vogue and others.

Migdon covers news about LGBTQ politics and policy for The Hill. She previously reported on the U.S. economy and labor market for Market News International. She received her bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University, where she studied criminal justice and journalism.
