Retiring Dem senator doesn’t rule out job in a Clinton administration

Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.) on Wednesday did not rule out taking a position in Hillary Clinton’s administration should the former secretary of State be elected president.

{mosads}“Let’s get a Clinton administration and then we can talk,” she said Wednesday on a call held by the Clinton campaign.

Mikulski is retiring from the Senate at the end of the year after serving five terms. She has been called the dean of the Senate women.

“I’m turning a page, not writing the final chapter,” she said. “Like Hillary, I’m a fighter, and service is in my DNA. This is one of the reasons I so admire Hillary, which is whether she was a law student, or whether she was first lady, whatever job she had, she was working very hard to be of service to others.”
