Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Wednesday praised President Trump for his speech to a joint session of Congress Tuesday night, saying he’d like to see more of that president’s side and less of his Twitter persona.
“He did really a good job last night. We need more of that guy and less of the tweeting guy,” Graham said during a CNN town hall.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), joining Graham in the town hall, also commended the president for the speech, noting that it was “different from his inaugural address.”
But McCain, who chairs the Senate Armed Services Committee, said he would have liked to hear more about Russia and Afghanistan.
Graham and McCain have been two of Trump’s most outspoken GOP critics.
