Warren to Trump: Forget about 2020

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) says President Trump should focus on current problems rather than looking ahead to the 2020 election. 

Warren has been floated as a potential Democratic White House contender, and Trump has said he’d love to face off against the liberal senator.

“He wants to do his tweets, he wants to think about how big his [inauguration] crowd size was, he wants to think about what happens four years from now,” Warren said Monday during a town hall in Springfield, Mass.

“What I’m thinking about is what Donald Trump is doing to this country today,” Warren added. “That’s what really, really has me up and working hard.”

{mosads}Warren slammed Trump’s impact on the middle class two months after he entered the Oval Office, saying he’s “delivered one gut punch after another to hardworking” American families.

“The whole reason I ever ended up in politics is because I wanted to fight for working families and this is the fight I am in every single day,” added Warren.

Trump said in an interview broadcast last Saturday that Warren launching a presidential bid against him would be “a dream come true.”

“I think she’d lose so badly,” he said on Fox News’s “Watters’ World.” “I think she hurt Hillary Clinton very badly.”

“I watched those speeches — the anger, the hatred, in her heart — and I said, ‘Ya know, she’s really bad for Hillary,’” Trump added of Warren’s work as a campaign surrogate for Clinton last year.
