Flake asks Daily Show where he can get a blanket emblazoned with his ‘meaningless tweets’
Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) on Thursday replied to the Daily Show’s twitter account by asking where he can get a blanket emblazoned with his “meaningless tweets.”
“Hey @TheDailyShow, how can I get one of these blankets?” Flake asked, responding to a photo from the Daily Show account of a man wearing a blanket covered in screenshots of Flake’s active Twitter account.
{mosads}”No better way to enjoy @JeffFlake’s farewell address than in the warm embrace of his meaningless tweets,” the photo’s caption reads.

Flake, who is retiring from the Senate in January, often criticizes President Trump and his influence on the Republican party.
Flake used his formal goodbye speech on Thursday to warn that the U.S. political climate “is not healthy.”
“I believe that we all know well that this is not a normal time, that the threats to our democracy from within and without are real, and none of us can say with confidence how the situation that we now find ourselves in will turn out,” Flake said from the Senate floor.
