A Missouri man was arrested for emailing the organizers of PrideFest in St. Louis threatening to shoot and kill gay people at the parade, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Thursday

Edward Terry was charged Tuesday with making a terrorist threat, according to court documents obtained by the Post-Dispatch.

{mosads}Terry created a fake email account and sent a message to one of PrideSTL’s parade planners saying he would “come to pride fest with my guns to kill every gay person I can before I kill myself,” according to the documents.

A Pride organizer sent the email to the FBI, and police tracked the account to Terry’s cellphone number.

Terry confirmed to police that he created the account, using the name of a woman he used to live with, per the Post-Dispatch.

His bail was reportedly set at $20,000, cash only.

St. Louis’s PrideFest is scheduled for June 29 and 30.
