GOP rep: New Congress will take ‘holistic’ approach to jobs

Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) said Sunday that the new Congress will take a “holistic” approach to job creation in 2017.

“I think what you’re going to see is a more holistic approach and looking at creating the environment for job growth to take place,” Blackburn told CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Blackburn, who serves as a vice chair for President-elect Donald Trump’s transition efforts, said that “less regulation” and  “less taxation” are necessary to create jobs bring manufacturing back to the United States.

{mosads}The congresswoman served as a surrogate for Trump during his presidential campaign, in which he criticized trade deals he said caused jobs to move overseas.
