Author speaks out after Trump promotes book on Twitter

The author of a book recently promoted by President Trump on Twitter is returning the praise, calling the president “a master salesman” in an interview broadcast Sunday.

“President Trump saw me on television, John, and he had also read my book ‘Green Card Warrior: My Quest for Legal Immigration in an Illegals’ System,’” Nick Adams said during an interview with John Catsimatidis on AM 970 in New York.

“And it turns out he was a big fan of it. He loved it. He gave it a good read,” said Adams, adding that Trump’s tweet helped boost sales for his book.

{mosads}Trump promoted Adams’ book earlier this month on Twitter, calling it a “must read.”

Adams, whose book focuses on his own immigration experience, was born in Australia. He said he served as a campaign surrogate for Trump, working on the pre-programs before his rallies.

“I actually supported Donald Trump, John, from day one. On the 16th of June, 2015, when he announced at Trump Tower, I was all in,” Adams said in the interview. “And so I’ve been there from the very very beginning.”

“Donald Trump, he’s not only a master marketer, he’s a master salesman,” Adams said.
