Eric Trump: Dem Party boss Tom Perez is a ‘nut job’

Eric Trump on Sunday called Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tom Perez a “nut job.”

“The head of the DNC, he’s quite frankly a nut job,” President Trump’s son told host Maria Bartiromo on Fox’s “Sunday Morning Futures.”

“The DNC is half defunct, they got no money in the bank. They have no operation,” he added, while asking what the Democratic Party’s message is. 

{mosads}Eric Trump has been largely critical of the DNC leader, also calling him a “whack job” and claiming the Democratic Party doesn’t have a clear message.

“You see the head of the DNC, who is a total whack job,” he said on Fox News earlier this month. “There’s no leadership there,” the president’s son added, while also saying that Democrats are “not even people” to him because of their efforts to obstruct of his father’s agenda.

“You see the Democratic Party, they’re imploding. They’re imploding. They became obstructionists because they have no message of their own,” he also said at the time.

Eric Trump on Sunday also pointed to the recent special elections swept by Republicans. 

“What are [Democrats] running on? All they are doing is obstructing and it is clearly not working because every race that comes along, every special election that comes along, my father is winning,” Trump said, echoing the president.

The president pointed to the GOP victories in Georgia and South Carolina at a rally in Iowa last week.

“They have a phony witch hunt going against me and you know what? All we do is win, win, win,” Trump said.
