Rubio: ‘Potential for serious crisis’ in Puerto Rico
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) on Monday said there is “potential for serious crisis” in parts of Puerto Rico, which was recently ravaged by Hurricane Maria.
“Returning from #PuertoRico now. Tremendous damage,” Rubio wrote on Twitter.
“Potential for serious crisis in areas outside of #SanJuan MUST get power crews in ASAP.”

{mosads}The storm prompted the White House on Monday to send Federal Emergency Management Agency Administrator Brock Long and homeland security adviser Tom Bossert to the U.S. territory to assess the damage.
Both Maria and Hurricane Irma have hit the island in the last month.
Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rosselló said Tuesday that the island needs additional help and resources for the recovery effort.
