CNN adds former Trump adviser as senior economics analyst

CNN has added economist Stephen Moore as a contributor, the network announced Tuesday.

“Moore will serve as a Senior Economics Analyst for CNN providing in-depth analysis, historical perspective, and expert commentary on current political and economic topics and financial issues facing the country and world,” a CNN press release reads.

Moore was a senior economic adviser for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. He also has several New York Times best-selling books to his credit and is a Heritage Foundation economist.

{mosads}Moore was most recently a contributor for Fox News and is a former member of The Wall Street Journal editorial board.

The Moore signing comes as CNN beefs up its political roster after Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20.
