Scarborough congratulates ‘Morning Joe’ team for record ratings
“Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough congratulated his show’s team for record ratings on Sunday amid high tension between President Trump and the show’s hosts. Trump frequently derides the show’s ratings as low.
“Congrats to the entire Morning Joe team for another record setting ratings month. You are amazing. Your hard work makes the difference!!” Scarborough tweeted on Sunday.

The MSNBC host’s comments come as the feud between the president and co-hosts Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski has intensified over the past week.
Trump’s most recent slam against the hosts was Saturday. “Crazy Joe Scarborough and dumb as a rock Mika are not bad people, but their low rated show is dominated by their NBC bosses. Too bad!” he tweeted.

{mosads}The show’s hosts wrote in a Washington Post op-ed on Friday that top White House officials had threatened to publish a negative story in the National Enquirer, which is owned by Trump’s friend David Pecker, if they did not personally call the president to apologize for past comments.
The op-ed was published one day after Trump launched a personal attack against Brzezinski on Twitter, calling her “crazy” and “low I.Q.,” as well as claiming she was bleeding from a facelift at Mar-a-Lago last New Years Eve.
I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came..

Brzeinski promptly responded to Trump’s tweet with an image of a Cheerio’s box with the slogan “Made for Little Hands,” which was apparently a reference to Sen. Marco Rubio’s (R-Fla.) infamous insult about Trump’s small hands during the 2016 presidential campaign.
