Megyn Kelly: Bill Maher ‘dead right’ about ‘pc police’
Former Fox News and NBC host Megyn Kelly offered rare praise for comedian Bill Maher on Tuesday after he criticized the left for too often insisting on political correctness.
“I have criticized Bill Maher many times (and vice versa) but the man is dead right about the pc police & their fake self-righteousness,” tweeted Kelly, who exited NBC last year after questioning on her show whether dressing up in blackface on Halloween was racist.

Maher said on Monday in an appearance on CNN that he thinks political correctness was a “cancer on progressivism.”
{mosads}“The vast majority of liberals in this country hate it,” Maher said. “They think political correctness has gone way too far. No one likes to be living on eggshells.”
Maher, who often sides will Democrats and is a frequent critic of conservatives and President Trump, said he needs to go after the left on political correctness because they “need some tough love, and I’m not going to stop.”
Maher, like Kelly, is no stranger to controversy. In 2017, he apologized for using the N-word on his show.
