Michael Jordan to present Kobe Bryant at Hall of Fame induction ceremony

Basketball legend Michael Jordan is slated to present Kobe Bryant at his Hall of Fame induction ceremony, ESPN reported.

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Thursday announced the list of Hall of Famers to present the 2020 class of honorees.

Bryant, who referred to Jordan as his “big brother” in the ESPN documentary “The Last Dance,” died in a January helicopter crash last year, along with his teenager daughter and seven other passengers.

“As I got to know him, I wanted to be the best big brother I could be,” Jordan said at Bryant’s memorial service in February 2020.

Jordan is also slated to present Baylor’s women’s head coach Kim Mulkey.

Bryant headlines the 2020 class which includes Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Rudy Tomjanovich, Eddie Sutton, Bob Self and John Calipari, Patrick Baumann, Tamika Catchings and Barbara Stevens.

The inductees of their families had the opportunity to choose previous Hall of Famers to introduce them.

The class will be enshrined on May 15.
