Raw deal for Palestine

Thank you for publishing the op-ed by Ali Abunimah, “Breaking the Middle East Impasse” (April 29). This opinion rightly suggests Palestinians are getting a raw deal in the proposed Brzezinski/Solarz plan for peace.

This plan asks nothing from Israel, but takes from Palestine. When the United Nations approved the partition in 1947, Israel agreed to a lot of things that they henceforth consistently backed off from.

{mosads}Let’s review their “Declaration of Israel’s Independence 1948” and hold them to the provisions they agreed to there.
