Former Intel chief Clapper joins Harvard
Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper will join Harvard’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs as a non-resident senior fellow.
“Jim Clapper is one of the most distinguished intelligence officers in American history,” said Belfer Center Director Graham Allison in a written statement on Wednesday.
“He has deep experience in leveraging science and technology to optimize intelligence gathering and safeguard our homeland.”
{mosads}Clapper served as DNI from 2010 until the end of the Obama administration.
His designated replacement, former Sen. Dan Coats (R-Ind.), is still unconfirmed but had a hearing Tuesday in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee.
