Flake visits Air Force brother in Arizona
Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) is probably having a cooler day than you.
The Arizona Republican tweeted a picture of himself in a flight suit standing with his brother next to a rescue helicopter Friday afternoon.
{mosads}”Just trying to be like Mike. With my brother CMSgt Mike Flake, 943rd Rescue Group, Davis-Monthan AFB. Great tour,” Flake wrote.
The 943rd Rescue Group is an Air Force rescue unit based at the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona.
The unit’s pilots fly HH-60 Pavehawk helicopters, and its members have served in Afghanistan in 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2012.
