Iran to return drone to Obama — a toy version
Reza Kioumarsi, head of the company making the toys, Ayeh
Art group, told Iran’s state radio that a pink model has been picked out to send back to the White
House, according to the Washington
Post.
{mosads}President Obama requested the Iranians return the downed U.S.
RQ-170 drone that was captured and displayed on Iranian state TV.
The Iranians have made no indication they intend to return
the drone, but have claimed to gain new technological advances from it.
Now, it appears the White House will get something from Iran — it
will just be 1/18th the size of the real thing.
The Post’s Tehran bureau chief, Thomas Erdbrink, posted images of the toys on his
Twitter page and said he’s giving away 10 on Wednesday.
