Four killed in Fort Hood helicopter crash

Four soldiers died after the helicopter they were on crashed during a training mission Monday evening at Fort Hood.

{mosads}Emergency crews found the crash scene after a lengthy search and recovered the bodies of the four crew members, according to a statement from the Texas base.

The crew members were assigned to Division West, First Army, and were on a “routine training mission” when the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crashed.

The soldiers’ identities are not being released, pending notification of their families.

NBC News reported that two pilots aboard an Apache helicopter were killed outside a U.S. base in South Korea on Monday.
