US soldiers involved in auto wreck in Poland
Six U.S. soldiers were hospitalized on Sunday after they were involved in an auto wreck in Poland, CNN reported.
The Army said in a statement to CNN that the accident happened at about 2 p.m. in Karliki, Poland. Seven soldiers were involved, and six were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The Army said it would not share the soldiers’ conditions until after their families have been notified.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Soldiers and their families,” the Army said. “The accident is under investigation and the U.S. Army will continue to work with local authorities.”
No locals were injured in the incident, the Army said.
The Hill has reached out to the Army for comment.
